Jalene

W.I.T.S. Level 3 Certified Personal Trainer.
Over 10 years of personal training experience.

 

Jalene has been training in the fitness industry since 2005. She has always enjoyed being active. In high school she participated in cross country, track and field, softball, and basketball, and played collegiate basketball as well. In 2008, Jalene helped start a nonprofit gym in her hometown and considers herself blessed to have her own small business in her hometown. She trains diverse groups of people at varying skill levels and strives to encourage, support, and motivate her clients as well as challenge them to reach their goals. Jalene utilizes her passion for health by offering a broad range of fitness specialties: athletic enhancement training, weight loss, strength training, and group fitness. She believes in whole body wellness, and develops personalized fitness plans to each individual to optimize fitness goals. She focuses on functional exercise (balance, core, weight training), cardiovascular exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle choices to improve overall wellness.

Ryan

4 years at Harper Community College. NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Over 12 years of personal training experience.

 

Ryan has 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He started out working in a rehabilitative environment helping elderly women with osteoporosis, by using a training method called “super slow strength movements.” One client of his grew a quarter of an inch from her spine straightening out from the resistance program. Ryan has worked with a man who weighed 600 pounds when he started, and together as a team Ryan helped him to lose 250 pounds in their first year together. He has trained professional athletes, college athletes, and high school athletes also. He has worked with a variety of clients, from women trying to lose weight and get in shape, to a number of guys looking to increase strength and cardiovascular endurance. Ryan is able and excited to work with anyone who is willing to be coached and motivated into wellness.  He specializes in high intensity workouts, corrective exercise, strength, balance, core, cardio, weight loss, corrective flexibility, and extreme fun.

Debbie

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer.

 

Debbie completed her Personal Training certification in June 2017. Even though Debbie is newly certified, she has been working out since playing high school sports and competing in collegiate volleyball. Debbie also has experience teaching a variety of cardio/strength group fitness classes. She enjoys using various techniques and equipment to train, such as strength bands, Versa Loops, gliding discs, kettlebells, and tabata intervals. Debbie also started competing in bodybuilding competitions in 2011. She has enjoyed challenging herself mentally and physically to compete in the bodybuilding world. Debbie is excited for the opportunity to help others realize their potential to lead a healthier lifestyle and help them smash their goals!.

Johnny

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer.

 

Johnny, a retired Marine, has been training under the International Sports Sciences Association for over three years. Originally from Quincy, Illinois, he has spent eight years in the military, which allowed him to travel and live all over the world. Fitness has been both a passion and a daily staple of Johnny’s life, which led him to begin personal training. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan, he completed over three full marathons. Though he describes his first race as an extremely painful endeavor due to his lack of experience, Johnny fell in love with the challenge of pushing past one’s perceived limits. His personal goal is to assist with as many fitness transformations as possible and to inspire others to embrace a healthy lifestyle that includes many different types of daily fitness activities. Among Johnny’s training experience is his time spent in the United States Marine Corps as a Martial Arts Instructor, where he earned his 1st degree Black Belt in the Marnie Corps Martial Arts program. He is honored to say that he trained over 200 subordinates and superiors. His favorite quote is, “One day you won’t be able to do this. Today is not that day!”
