During the forced COVID-19 shutdown our maintenance team was hard at work the entire time. The Kroc Center experienced a wide array of work throughout the facility, including: cleaning/sanitation, repairs and installation of new equipment. Below is a list of many of the changes that have been made and facility areas that have received attention over the past few months.  A few of the most noticeable include new LED lighting throughout the facility, the beautiful Terrazzo floors sparkle (stripped & waxed), and the fountain is up and going again!

• Cleaned carpet in all offices.

• Cleaned carpet in worship theater.

• Cleaned all restroom floor edges and corners.

• Stripped and waxed monument steps.

• Cleaned all interior windows.

• Cleaned The Ledge top to bottom.

• The Ledge chairs re-covered.

• Repaired Splash Pad entrance gate.

• Painted quiet area on second level.

• Dusted walls in fitness rooms.

• Replaced all HVAC unit filters.

• Power washed Huck’s outdoor play equipment.

• Cleaned all Aquatic windows.

• Cleaned indoor fountain and closet.

• Repaired bookshelf in The Ledge.

• Cleaned all janitors’ closets.

• Dusted all high duct work on main level.

• Cleaned all electrical closets.

• Replaced auto-fill on indoor fountain.

• Cleaned under wheelchair lift.

• Stripped and cleaned gray stairs. (Roof to basement)

• Performed routine maintenance on mixing valve.

• Replaced bad ceiling tiles.

• Replaced all bad exterior GFCI outlets.

• Caulking in front of offices and various areas in Aquatics.

• Cleaned all entrance doors.

• Detailed cleaning on railing along top level.

• Ran low speed scrubber in all Cabanas.

• Cleaned brass drains in all areas.

• Cleaned all drains in kitchen.

• Cleaned all stainless steel in kitchen.

• Addressed wall scuff marks in security office.  (FRP board)

• Dusted black, wall mounted fans in cardio room and weight room.

• All door frames painted

• Sanded and painted center post at double doors in Aquatics.

• Painted various spots in cardio room.

• Replaced caulking on Terrazzo at Aquatic window areas.

• Painted various spots on main level.

• Power washed vehicle fleet.

• DOT inspections completed on fleet vehicles.

• Cleaned all office chairs.

• Cleaned all Worship Theater chairs.

• Painting in Worship Theater.

• Repaired drywall in Worship Theater corner with an expansion joint.

• Saw cut seams in new concrete work at outside fountain.

• Caulked seams at cut joints.

• Started painting yellow parking lot curbing and arrows. (test areas)

• Cleaned out strainers on back patio drains

• Built shelving in garage area at Kroc

• Built new shelving off locker room storage

• New shelves for ceiling tile storage

• New outlet and cat 5 in life guard office for sound system

• Repair work on bus 4 battery post wire etc.

• Removed lockers from hallway and installed in life guard office

• Repair base where lockers were in hall and painted wall behind

• Install new Dyson dryer women’s locker room

• Replaced cove base by punching bag with a heavier base

• Bus 5 tail light wiring repaired and replaced.

• Cleaned and sanitized all publicly accessible rooms and equipment in the Kroc Center.

• Created and posted social distancing requirements and guidelines throughout the facility.

• Procured and inventoried personal protective equipment (PPE) for our staff and patrons.

• Big Bus wiring issues and was repaired

• Replaced numerous light switches  (laundry, cabanas, aquatics)

• Painted tan doors, Ledge, main office, and Huck’s

• Furniture protection felt pads on all furniture

• Huck’s Hideout wall light repair

• Rearranged and removed seating for social distancing in Worship Theater

• Preventative maintenance on all treadmills.

• Replaced drive belt on treadmill.

• Repaired transport wheel on elliptical.

• Set up and instructed Quincy Family Services with hand sanitizer and Q.T. Plus.

• Met with pest control and lawn care for Hannibal property on Church Street.

• Dusted all walls in Bluffs, fitness studios, The Ledge, weight room and cardio room.

• Wiped down all walls in bathrooms, cabanas and locker rooms.

• Wiped down all bathroom stall walls.

• Repair work on ERV-1.

• Replaced recovery wheel motor on ERV at Family Services.

• Repaired 2 faucets and cleaned Daikin filters at Family Services.

• Repaired access key box to Shelter at Family Services. (Torn from wall)

• Replaced numerous batteries on faucets, urinals and toilets.

• Unloaded 2 pallets of wipes and placed in Vermont Street property.

• Received gym wipes and placed in closet.

• Dusted large ceiling fans.

• Detailed Honda van.
